thanks for the tips everyone. he seems a bit stronger, we gave him some more room to move around. He's big, but the Toulouse are called a "heavy breed". They are not very fast or graceful. He's pretty funny to watch when he tries to keep up with all the rest when they run back down to the pond. If he ...

Leroy, our favorite goose, has been injured by "something". He's a big Toulouse. We found him near our pond, not able to walk, even tho he has control of his legs. He has an almost bare area on his lower back, only a few tail feathers left. We have him in a dog kennel, he's eating & drinking, but not ...

Only the males make what you refer to as obnoxious squawks, mainly during the breeding season.
Personally, I love to hear them holler but can understand why some folks may not.
Worse thing about the free ranging peafowl is they LOVE to perch on porches and vehicles and leave random poop ever...

So first I posted something about all the adorable pups at Max's, suggesting that other people go adopt them. Then an adorable pup showed up in my driveway and I posted about that. Well, we've decided that he's as home as he's going to get. Named him Junior and the older dogs are teaching him some man...
