Re: Lost Quaker Parrot/ Crippled

Hi again,

Would a non-bird person notice her feet as being crippled?
There is a woman in SC who's email came to a list I am on and she has
found a quaker parrot.  She is in Rock Hill, SC, just below Charlotte.
Not sure if your bird would fly that far, but just in case-
Her email is jenneubauer@hotmai...

Since we live near Bennett now I sometimes also watch Fox8 out of Greensboro and they had the best funny today. After that and the footprint story they thought bigfoot is a good tourist attraction. Cindy Farmer said the state slogan outa be "git, git, git ? No! Come on y'all"!

Sorry, I didn't mention, she was cracking her eggs and eating the insides.  Ok thanks for the advice.  I just don't want her to starve.  I was told by another, if I didn't get her nutrition correct and she was under weight, the summer heat could kill her.

Anyone else ever hear that?

Sorry if I missed it, but were there some problems that you made her think something was off with her diet?  My girls eat purina layena and they free range (on whatever comes from the garden that I toss over the fence, mostly.)  that's it.  I don't give them scratch on purpose.  I've heard about givin...

I have another situation. I give her iceberg lettuce in the am, a whole cereal bowl full. I give her Purina Layeran(sp?) crumbles. She will not eat the crumbles at all. A chicken person, who told me to give her oyster shells also recommended that I give her wet cat food to get her protein up and to fe...

I was really impressed by the detail about its beautiful hair. for some reason, it makes me totally believe him. I mean, who would expect silky hair on Bigfoot? he noticed that. he must have seen one.
