I am so very sorry. I was so hoping you would get him home safely and that all would be well. He was such a beautiful cat.

I thought I should let you know we found JoJo. He was in horrible condition and succumed to starvation/trauma at the vet this morning.

Go by Max's Dog Wash, where they often have puppies that are being fostered. And Petfinders is great. Also, since you're concerned about size, think of some breeds that would work for you and check for rescue groups, as well as searching Petfinders for those breeds.

we've been watching the shelters/care for about six months.  haven't found the right puppy, or on a few occasions when we thought we had, they were gone by the time we got there.  unfortunately it is turning out to be really hard to get a 8 to 10 week old puppy from rescue...  especially when we don't...

We saw our first set of big bucks Sunday morning on 902. They were bopping all over the fenceline and road, and finally running off. Seems like fall is here.

I second the previous recommendation to check with a rescue group.
Just off Hwy 64 between Pittsboro and Siler City (you'll see a green and white highway sign) is the Chatham Co shelter.

We dropped off a donation of food there, and it is a good LOCAL choice for finding a new furry friend.

Okay, I appreciate that, thanks. They have helped with other dogs for us before. I just did not know they did teeth work too. I am hearing thtat this is a pretty common issue with the breed, but our Chihuahua has not had any issues with his teeth, so this problem with our little girl is new to us.
