Well, that's just stupid- how are you supposed to teach art with no supplies??  And if she had to provide her own before, why did another teacher acquire them?  This is NO way to treat teachers!!!!  LAME!!!

She is in a new classroom on the 6-8 hall until the new building opens.  She will be teaching the 6-8 kids and the new K-5 art teacher has Ms. Vigus' old classroom and all her supplies.  She needs supplies NOW!

It may be that they are buying art supplies for the new school ... but not for the teacher to use BEFORE they're going to the new school. Kind of dumb, but par for the course.

AC Moore is having some sales now , if folks regularly shop there. It might be worth a few of us buying some things and stockpiling them til January.

You will have to talk to someone at the bus garage for the school system to see if something can be done.  They set up the routes.  The schools are not allowed to change the routes.

Since it sounds like there are others in your neighborhood who are in the same boat, perhaps you can all carpool and maybe each would only have to drive one day a week.  We rode with 3 other families in our neighborhood in the mornings causing us to only have to drive one day a week and every 4th Frid...
