Has the superintendent and the school board given their go-ahead on the project and mentor needs? I haven't seen anything about it in the school board minutes.

Every senior, every year, needs a mentor, so yes, the schools need community members to help. At the link I posted before, on the left side, click on Contract Coordinators. The coordinators are listed:

In the rural county children cannot safely walk on or beside a 55 MPH road. I can see centralized pick up points in developments however.

Nikki had some at Al's Diner a few weeks ago (Charger cards)... I need to get one for myself, if they're still available!!
