I borrowed a woodwind from a family member and it is in the shop right now for repair and cleaning. Being a music dummy I about fell over when I saw entry level instruments at a store in Burlington for $1000 to $1500. I will stick with used.

For horns there's a great alternative to renting, buy used from Marsh's Woodwinds in Raleigh.  They are great guys and better musicians and it's just a cool place.  I think it's still there.

Then they can work another sport or JV. There is always an excuse why someone can't do their part. It's pathetic.  It's not fair that it is the same handful of people, year after year after year, doing the work while other get to sit on their behinds.

There has been a sitting fee for Senior portraits since I was at Northwood, and that was a long time ago!

The Lifetouch portraits do suck.  The band director at Northwood takes much better pictures and you get a lot more for your money.

yes, the calendar seems to give people trouble.

Concessions starts at 630 and sometimes we don't stop until either we are sold out and or the game is over, this last time we ran out of food and closed before 10:00 pm, we serve pizza and hot dogs, drinks, popcorn, nachos and candy.

I went to the calender and clicked on volunteering at the concession stand, but it doesn't tell you how much time you're volunteering or anything like that.  I would like a little bit more information before giving my email address to volunteer.
